Billy Judson

Billy Judson was helping with his father’s ministry in India when he sensed God’s call to do even more. Billy felt led to full-time ministry because of a longing to offer the people of India a fair chance to hear and respond to the gospel.

As a young man, Billy sacrificed three years of living close to friends and family —even missing the birth of his first child—to attend seminary in the United States. His heart desired to obtain the in-depth biblical training and personal discipleship needed to MAGNIFY God’s glory to all of India.
After graduating from Shepherds and returning home to India, Billy became the director of a Bible college and seminary in India. He states, “It is extremely difficult to do evangelism in India—the only way is through the local church.” The mission of his Bible college and seminary is to bring the gospel to every family and community by bringing formal theological education to the local churches.

Currently, there are 57 self-sustained teaching sites across various people groups in nine states in India, which serves five major languages. Now, with several thousand graduates, students continue to come from all walks of life to be trained to MAGNIFY the Lord as servant leaders throughout India.
